A stunning piece of Pacific Northwest artisan history, this hand-crafted wall plaque from Shapes of Clay (Graham, Washington) is made from natural unrefined clays blended with actual volcanic ash from the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens. The result is a beautifully textured, craggy surface that captures the raw power of the Cascade Range.

The front features a vibrant hand-painted Southwestern / Native American motif — a bold red chili ristra, a decorative pottery vessel with turquoise geometric patterning, and a bowl — all set against the dramatic white-and-black volcanic ash clay background.
