A lovely piece of vintage religious Americana — "In His Name", a gospel songbook from the Golden Voices series published by James D. Vaughan, Music Publisher, copyright 1968. The cream cover features a bold purple title and a circular illustration of Jesus emerging from the tomb, with the scripture verse Colossians 3:17: "And whatsoever ye do, do all in the name of… in word or deed, the Lord Jesus."

The back cover bears a charming personal inscription: "Compliments of the Reid Family." The interior is filled with full sheet music and lyrics for gospel hymns including "You Can Leave Your Yesterdays (All Behind You)" and "Hear Our Prayer" by Harrell Marler.
