A wonderful piece of early American advertising ephemera — a vintage tin wall-mount match holder advertising Johnson & Tachick, featuring the services: "Meat · Grocery · Lockers · Butchering · Curing · Smoking · Home Made Sausage."
The front features a beautiful Victorian-style lithograph of a lady in a rose arbor, printed in red, green, and cream tones. The red painted tin top has a decorative scalloped silhouette with a hanging hole, and the bottom drawer slides out to hold matches.
