1930s Newspaper Clipping Scrapbooks — Lot of 2 — Roosevelt Era & WPA Headlines

A remarkable pair of 1930s newspaper clipping scrapbooks, sold together as a lot — a genuine primary source time capsule from the heart of the Great Depression and New Deal era. Both scrapbooks were assembled by the same collector and are labeled in handwritten index cards affixed to the covers:

• Scrapbook 1: “Newspaper Items from Papa’s 1930s — Roosevelt Items” — housed in a purple and orange Jumbo Scrap Book with illustrated cover art by Bill Bailey.
